From March we will offer an additional weekly Guided Half Primary Series class on Saturdays 9-10.30. This class will be a guided class following the traditional vinyasa count in Sanskrit.
The teacher calls out the names of each posture and counts the breaths to encourage a flowing practice. Each class will take students through half of the Astanga Yoga Primary Series. This includes the sun salutations, fundamental asanas and the primary series postures up to navasana, ending with back bends and the closing sequence.
Guided Half Primary class is for students of all levels, however, experience with at least the Astanga standing sequence is recommended.
